Tidal announces “Tidal X: Brooklyn”



Remember when people said Tidal was a flop? September 22nd Tidal announced its third annual “Tidal X: Brooklyn” benefit concert to be held October 17th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Proceeds from the concert will go towards natural disaster awareness and relief. While tickets are already on sale for Tidal subscribers, they’ll be available to the general public 9/26 at 12 PM ET.

Between Tidal X in 2015 and 2016 the streaming service has raised over 3 million dollars for social-justice and education non-profits. Per Variety, the proceeds of this year’s concert will go toward natural-disaster-relief organizations including, Global Giving, All Hands Volunteers, Kids in Need Foundation, Direct Relief, One America Appeal, Greater Houston Community Foundation, American Civil Liberties Union, and Miami Community Foundation among others.
