Tennis – Origins (Official Video)

The Blue Stones – Vain Vixen (Official Video)

Seen this video by checking one of my favorite websites and was very impressed with this two-man duo. Dressed well, and playing some rock with some gusto. You can head to the bands bandcamp page to buy their self-released EP.

The Decemberists – One Engine

The band from Portland, Oregon whose sixth album “Long Live The King” was well received by music lovers everywhere, have released their contribution to the “Hunger Games” soundtrack. The film the soundtrack is being recorded for, is one of the most anticipated films being released this year, and could bring grand ramifications to all involved. So far the trailers have been good, and if this is a taste of what we can expect of the soundtrack, it might fit in quite well with the motion picture.

Frankie Rose – Gospel/Grace (Official Video)

Spaced out video we have here.

Chromatics – Into The Black (Official Video)

A cover of a classic Neil Young record is the second single from the Portland, Oregon bands new album “Kill For Love” which is dropping this Valentines Day. Loving the vibe of the video, and the vocals from lead singer Ruth Badelet

Kindness – Gee Up

This is the newest single, if you could not have guessed from the words on the screen. Even though the song is really short and the video does go on a bit after the highly catchy sogn is over. Did I really expect more from this?

The Black Keys – Gold On The Ceiling (Official Video)

The boys from Akron return to the site. This new video from the dynamic duo showcases the energy and fun of one of their live shows,- something I have yet to enjoy. The Keys album “El Camino” is out now. Pick that up; one of the most fun and enjoyable records of last year.

Roman Ruins – Mighty Love

I know of drummer Graham Hill because of his contribution to the indie band “Beach House” as their drummer. He has also played drums for the band “Papercuts” this project, is all him. Roman Ruins is a new work by the 31-year-old singer-songwriter. According to the bandcamp for this project, Hill was writing the songs for this album in 2010, and with the birth of his son he realized he “was ushering in a family of songs about the process of growing a home, both architecturally and spiritually”. This is the first single off the project.

Father John Misty – Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings Starring Aubrey Plaza

In this video we see: Aubrey Plaza smile, Aubrey Plaza cry, Aubrey Plaza wrecking shit, Aubrey Plaza dancing, Aubrey Plaza sucking her fingers, Aubrey Plaza fighting, Aubrey Plaza wearing big glasses,  Aubrey Plaza laid out on the ground with her nose blooded. Seems like I have a thing for Aubrey Plaza doesn’t it? With all that, the song for this is pretty good as well.

Miike Snow – Paddling Out (Offical Video)

Well, this is one of those videos that is weird, strange, disgusting to a degree, but a total fun to watch. These guys are making waves both musically and visually.
