So yesterday one of my favorite sites, Gizmodo, had a story on how over 100 million facebook profiles had been thrown into a torrent file for pirates to download. The info in the torrent only consisted of stuff that you left public…translation, if you have your pics set to private, so only your friends can see you looking a like a slore when you’re  drunk…no problem, you don’t have to worry about a 350 pound guy in a “World of Warcraft” shirt whacking off to your photos in between leveling up his level 75 dark mage. It was pointed out by a commenter on Gizmodo, that with all this information downloaded, it can be combed through with programs in an attempt to generate your password for your Facebook profile and e-mail, which could in turn lead to more of your important info (So, if your name is James Avery and you were born in 83, and your password is JAVERY83….change that password)  Today however, a new story broke on how major companies are downloading this torrent. Through a process called Peer Block, the IP addresses of others downloading the torrent can be determined, and traced back to their companies or organizations of origin. While this could just be a random person within the company doing so…it could also be something else. So who are these companies you may ask?

While it’s clear some of these companies will probably be using this info to spam your e-mail (remove that from your profile) you seriously have to wonder why the United Nations or the Church of Scientology would want this information. Just because your a nobody now means nothing…if you try and become someone of significance later…the Church of Scientology will bribe you…audit yourself, or they’ll let it leak how you were shrooming at the Electric Daisy Carnival. Too late to change it now. I’m straight, EVERYBODY knows I’m a pot head already, and it’ll be legal in California soon enough.

My suggestion: Download the torrent…and software to read the profiles….20 years from now…search for the names of the people running for President…one of them will probably be a druggie, or gay.

New Music from that kid named Cudi…

So, originally I wasn’t really feeling Cudi’s “Man on the Moon”…I think mainly because of all the hype it was getting. Over time however, I started to dig it… not like emo kids in skinny jeans do, but it’s cool. I still can’t listen to it for extended periods of time without having to fight the urge to slit my wrists…but certain tracks on it are cool. This will be on Cudi’s sequal to “Man on the Moon” dropping on…a day Kanye’s album isn’t.

Normally, I like to listen to mixtapes before I throw them up…for cats I fuck with, no listening session necessary. I’m sure this Gibbs tape will be dope, and based on the tracks I’ve heard so far…it goes.

Yo is it just me or did Bun B kill this feature….

I came up on a random performance by The 2 Hungry Brothers & some Ill underground artists.

So 2 Hungry Bros and 8THW1 released a CD called No Room For Dessert, they had a get together @ Southpaws in NY to celebrate. A whole gang of people performed over mostly 2 Hungry Bros beats which was crazy. They had Homeboy Sandman, 8THW1, Fresh Daily, P. Casso, Likwuid, Jannelle Renee, Sleepwalkas, Ciph Diggy, and many more do their thing on stage. The crazy thing about the showcase was that everybody who performed was pretty good. 8THW1 performed with energy and had a good amount of features in his set. The Homeboy Sandman spit some elaborate bars along with Ciph Diggy and Jannelle Renee came with the high notes. The sound and Dj were on point, the artists were all up & coming so you could still feel the hunger. Too bad you weren’t there, but check out some of the music I got to hear. We bought all the albums and I’m looking forward to hearing more from these individuals.
