Just in time for the weekend lead singer Z. Cole Smith Beach Fossils side-project “DIIV” releases a new visual for their first single. If you happened not to hear the song previously, let this be your first experience of this catchy, mellow, fun tune. I would not suggest you try to create whatever Cole is concocting here, but if you happened to be home all weekend (like I might be) than it might be worth a shot.

Even though Kobe and the Lakers are done in the playoffs, Kobe’s shoes are not! The next installment in the Nike Zoom Kobe 7 are called the “What the Kobe?” The shoe is a mashup of the “Cheetah & Christmas” editions.  Whatever they were going for on this shoe, I guess they got what they wanted lol. So it appears that a new track has been released, to promote the G.O.O.D Music complication album “Cruel Summer”. The word around the net, is that this is another shot at a certain Canadian rap super star. The Dream links up with Pusha on this record, and he might be sending shots at one of his enemies as well. Is the net blowing things out of proportions?

A remix to a track which can be found on K.RI.T’s third mixtape “4eva N A Day”. This bonus track off K.R.I.T’s major label debut; which will be arriving in a little under two weeks, features Juicy J, and Wake Flocka- two rappers you would want for a track like this one.

Blu has been releasing a lot of music this year, sadly for his fan base most of this music has composed of unmastered material with the audacity to charge us for it. With this new single Blu shows what made the Internet fall in love with him in the first place. With an instrumental fitting his voice, and the vocals of the lovely Mela Machinko, it is something that audiences will get behind, and hopefully some more music from B-L-U like this, will lead to an actual release of something.

Jessie Ware has not been on my radar until today, but her impressive cover of the Bob Caldwell classic will definitely keep her in my mind. Produced by Sampha, a name in the UK Bass scene, Jessie is apparently making her presence known over there. With the attention she is mounting with her soft tone, and atmospheric voice, she may be making some noise in the U.S very soon. I kind of hope so, because she is pretty cute- but that is neither here nor there.
