The Three Stooges Trailer – I Seriously Want To Poke The Eyes Of Everyone Involved, Till My Fingers Reach The Back Of Their Skulls

I can recall staying over a friend’s house during my elementary school days and being introduced to The Three Stooges. I remember in the very late hours of the evening, laughing hysterically as Moe, the leader and most frequent abuser of the three slapped Curly, the dumbest of the three with his own sandwich. From than on, whenever The Stooges came across my television screen, I would devote some time to laugh at their wacky misadventures.

When the news was out that The Farrelly Brothers: filmmakers who were known for delivering comedies such as “There is Something About Mary” and to a lesser extent “The Heartbreak Kid”, I was a little afraid. When I heard who was rumored to be cast: Sean Penn as Larry, Benecio Del Toro as Moe, and none other than Jim Carrey as Curly, I was filled with excitement and anticipation. Sadly, the news of these three actors coming together to portray the icons proved false, and what we got instead was, Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulous and Will Sasso, I begin to feel a lot less excited for this film.

Now I originally thought that the film, would be three short films, all different in story, more in the fashion of the original Three Stooges productions. However, what we have here is the Stooges, trying to save their childhood home; while also trying being involved in a murder plot. So it is a mix of The Blues Brothers, and a very generic, unfunny thriller. To top it all off, they somehow get into a very successful reality television show. I wash my hands of this film, and will pretend to the fullest extent of my power that it does not exist. I can see no way, how this film will not be a complete disgrace to the legacies left by the original Moe, Larry & Curly.

YOUNG JEEZY- “A HUSTLERZ AMBITION”

“A Hustlerz Ambition” is a documentary that will accompany the album TM:103.  The album is in stores Dec. 20.

“CONTRABAND”

Mark Wahlberg leads the cast of Contraband, a white-knuckle action-thriller about a man trying to stay out of a world he worked hard to leave behind and the family he’ll do anything to protect. Set in New Orleans, the film explores the cutthroat underground world of international smuggling—full of desperate criminals and corrupt officials, high-stakes and big payoffs—where loyalty rarely exists and death is one wrong turn away. It will be out 2012.

“ACT OF VALOR”

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming movie Act of Valor. The movie is about an elite team of Navy SEALs embark on a covert mission to recover a kidnapped CIA agent. The story is fictional but the weapons and tactics are real. It will be in theaters February 17, 2012. It will be worth the watch.

Bleached – Electric Chair

The B side to the duo’s 7′ edition of their previous single “Searching Through The Past”. Expect some heavy garage rock influence here.

Kid Cudi – Maniac Feat. Cage (Short Film): Directed by Shia LeBeouf

This is a short film directed by actor, and Vancouver punching bag Shia LeBeouf. Its is titled “Maniac” and stars rappers Kid Cudi and Cage as two serial killers being filmed performing a various sets of murders. While Shia’s direction I found to be quite good, I found no interest in the story, and found the violence to be too over the top to be taken seriously. I have seen a music video already, showcasing violence in a documentary style, that is not gory, or over the top, and it have the actual effect of fear and loathing for the criminals involved.

Stalley X Rick Ross-Lincoln Way Nights Shops Rmx (Music Video)

There’s only certain cities in the country you can REALLY do it BIG. Los Angeles and New York are on top of the short list…Miami is definitely in there. Stalley rolls around with Ricky the Boss on this one. “Lincoln Way Nights” is being remastered and released for retail on November 8th…if you’re a real fan, support that.

Trailer – The Avengers

Finally! The first trailer for the much anticipated, four years in the making Super Hero film has arrived. The trailer is not bad showcasing each member for a few seconds; Iron Man gets most of the time, as his franchise is the most successful. I am still very skeptical about this film: I loathed Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America were decent, but nothing spectacular- and Joss Whedon has not made much noise outside of his nerd following since Buffy The Vampire Slayer was on the WB. Maybe it was all worth it, or it will be a massive bomb. In six months, we will find out.

Remember when black movies were just movies?
