By now, most people know what the joint looks like. Apple decided to go with more of a professional look with the flat edges. Glass will be on the front and the back, with steel around the outsides. This time around Apple’s phone will have two cameras. One on the front, for the video chat program “FaceTime”, and a 5mp camera on the back with LED flash. It appears the back camera will have 5x digital zoom, with HD recording capabilities of 720p at 30fps. “Facetime” will only be available on 4g iPhones, can be used with both cameras, horizontally and veritcally, but only through Wi-Fi for this year. This basically signals a possible 4g internet connection for AT&Ts iPhone next year.
Other than the fancy smancy camera tricks, the iPhone will have a display that features four times the pixels, 78% of the pixels of the iPad. The 3 axis gyroscope controls will give the iPhone controls similar to that of the PS3′s six-axis controller. While doesn’t mean too much of shit,,.considering the six-axis didn’t pop, the iPhone will be able to play FarmVille, and Guitar Hero. FarmVille alone should be huge for people other than me.
A new battery will give the phone a 7 hour battery life for talking, 6 hour battery life for 3g web browsing, and a 10 hour battery life for Wi-Fi web browsing. Bing, Netflix, and iBooks will all be supported on the iPhone 4.0. Word on the skreet is…iWork support will come at a later date. Along with the new app support, the iPhone will feature the ability to multi-task.
The iPhone 4.0, or, as it’s being referred to iPhone 4 will release June 24th. They’ll be taking pre-orders June 15. The phone will retail for $199 for the 16gig model, and $299 for the 32gig model.
What do I think of it? It’s dope. If it had a bigger Hd…say, a 64 gig joint, it’d be even better. The general public though (ie…people other than me) probably won’t need more than 32 gigs. The price is cool, the features are…ALRIGHT. At&t supported tethering is still absent. It’s all good, I’m sure the Iphone 4 will be jailbroken in no time, and people tethering and video chatting on 3g in no time. If your down with AT&T…cop it. If not, I’m sure there is an equivalent to the Iphone 4 that doesn’t require you switching providers, you’ll be alright with that.

YEAH the new iphone is slick and all and I know why they trying to hype it up more than usual cause they actaully got competition this time around with all the android phones but i still think phones with the android software is the superior phones not by much though regardless its still gonna sell like blue magic
I just have been trying to figure out how fast the processor is. I even checked the specs on their site. No sign of that anywhere. Is it faster than the 3gs or maybe even the ipad?
Now way it will be as fast as the Ipad, I would say maybe 80% of the Ipad…
The processor is the same speed as the IPad…it’s the same processor.
