Fantasy Football week 3 Recap

Drew Brees didn’t deliver…wha?

I’m gonna make this one quicker. Tuesday is normally the perfect day for this
1. Because I get out of work early that day, I get home, do homework, chill and write
2. Its right after I finish whooping on people in the league

Anyways…back to the program

1.Team Bedord (2-0) vs Team Garcia (1-1)

Peyton Manning did the damn thing. 37 points from Eli’s big brother keeps one of the leagues two undeafeated squads, undefeated. Long Beach’s own Desean Jackson added another 24, while on the other side, Aaron Rodgers’ 27 just wasn’t enough. Team Bedford last another week undefeated (He’ll have to play me eventually).
Team Bedford (3-0) 113
Team Garcia (1-2) 91

2,  Union Republic (0-2) vs Future Space Bonglords (1-1)

On the other end of the spectrum, the leagues only winless team, faced off against one of RealityisReal’s teams (is it?). The outcome? Let’s just say old habits die hard. Union Republic was in the lead, however, as Future Space BongLords once again put his fiat in the cowgirls Tony Romo, and Felix Jones, he took the win Monday night. 12 from Romo and 11 from Jones was enough to give future space squad the lead. Matt Schaub put up 27 for Union Republic, and the Packers D put up 20, but it just wasn’t enough to get in the win column.

Union republic (0-3) 81
Future Space BongLords (2-1) 87

3. Banana Clipse (1-1) vs Long Beach Smash Squad (0-2)

Pencil in a W for the Smash Squad. My Smash Squad lead the league in points this week with 137, led my 44 by Maurice Jones Drew. Early in the game, Jones Drew lead against the seemingly absent Banana Clipse all by his self. Adrian Peterson put up a whole lot of nothing (9 points) as Santana Moss lead Clipse squad with 27. The Ravens D (23 points) Phillip Rivers (21 points) and MJD were too much though.

Banana Clipse (1-2) 91
Long Beach Smash Squad (1-2) 137

Game of the Week
Long Beach Fill In Squad (2-0) vs Prynce Cin (1-1)

The match up of one of the two undefeateds vs last weeks highest scorer was some ugly shit. Frank Gore going down injured early in the SF 9ers game was  horrible for Cin squad, however, starting Trent Edwards didn’t help either. Trent Edwards’ 5 points can’t be too bad, Drew Brees only had 4. While Prynce’s squad hung in early, the ofer from Gore and 1 point form Kellen Winslow made it hard to compete with 15 from Brandon Jacobs. What was billed as the huge matchup turned out to be a dud, but I’ll take the W anyway.
Long Beach Fill in Squad (3-0) 69
Prynce Cin (1-2) 46

Match-Up of the Week for Week 4

Team Garcia (1-2) vs Union Republic (0-3)

While there are two undefeated teams (that aren’t playing each other) there is only one winless team. Will they end up like the Lions of last year? Will they get on the board this week? This is what holds my interest. Other matchups have Cin squad facing the other undefeated team, and the heavily favored Smash Squad looking to smash the Bonglords.
