It’s KiD CuDi’s World

Simple as…

Album of the year!!

That being said..I remember checking out Kid’s single that came out a few months (damn near 12) back called “Day N’ Night” and it was hot as shit. I never got a chance to check out his Mixtape called “A Kid Named Cudi”.

Man on the Moon: The End of Day : Cudi has a theme going through the whole track list…Common narrates the end of some of the songs and it’s really nice the first time, but not so much on multiple listens.

Each couple of tracks is broken up into acts…it mostly seems like a raise to the person he is now and it has a great sense of forwardness. The sound is fucking greatness…Space Rock to straight Hip Hop…mixed with alittle Pop. The whole album is great to start to finish and the theme really helps with listening each song from track 1 to 15. Some of my Favs: 1. Simple as…(this one is my favorite short but sweet and just plain addicting.) 2. Solo Dolo (Great chill song and great hook…very catchey.) 3. Make Her Say (mainly because of how funny it is when you first listen to it…its got vocal sample of Lady Gaga’s acoustic version of Poker Face.). These aren’t the only songs I like..they are all great…everyone of the tracks is great. These are only the few that I can’t stop listening to. You have to give this shit a listen…There’s a Deluxe Edition

16. “Day ‘n’ Nite” (Crookers Remix) Crookers 4:41
17. “T.G.I.F.” (featuring Chip tha Ripper) The Kickdrums 2:31
18. “Man on the Moon (The Anthem)” Nosajthing 3:31
19. “Is There Any Love” (featuring Wale) Emile 3:30

These songs are also greatness…although they don’t really fit into 1-15 of the album. That being said you need to check Kid Cudi out…seems like the next thing and if not he will be making this kind of music either way and I’m down with that. I’m always in the mood for this kind of chilly music. The guest’s are really good and don’t seem to overly stay they’re welcome. I’m not so big of guests and definitely not on debut albums. Kayne West and Common are on Make Her Say. MGMT comes into Pursuit Of Happiness…I’ve never really heard anything from them, but this is the third single from the album and theres a reason for it…while Make Her Say is the Second and Day N’ Night is the first single. Chip tha Ripper and Ratatat appear on Hyyerr and Alive (Nightmare) respectively…all these are amazing. Buy the album even if it’s the last album you buy this year.

So apparently 2 people from RealityisReal like the album….what about Brillyance?
