A quick break from the silence…

I didn’t do stop cooning this week…but SOMEBODY DID…

               I spotted this over at the first page to give me a permanent space to rant. (Expect to see me over there…next week…maybe). I’ve been sort of silent as of late…busy getting ready for PAX. What’s PAX? More on that next week.

I think this is dope that Nas got in dude’s video. It’s comedy, but there’s a purpose to it. They didn’t say anything amazingly shocking, and they didn’t shake up the world, but this was done for the fuck of it. A quick look at the bullshit ass direction the mainstream hip hop world is heading towards. I’m glad somebody in the position to make money off the coonery is speaking on it, instead of just  playing the role to continue getting bread.

I’m at Rock the Bells this weekend, so expect to see video from it over here Monday. I’m gonna try to get the best shit I can, but the dual stage/fucked up scheduling of some of the acts will keep me from recording some of the acts I’d really like to see. Oh well…I’ll guarantee I’ll catch the Roots!
