I’m going to be saying Fight stick alot….
Namco Bandi is looking to jump on the Fight stick band wagon and get a little of that dough we all gave away for the Street fighter 4 fight sticks by MadCatz. Funny, I was just thinking I need another fight stick…for Tekken no less. Now my opinion on this fight stick…its wireless and a professional tourney player in any crowd will tell you that there’s a loss of precision with wireless fight sticks. I would say it’s fine for casual players, but the thing about it is why would anybody be willing to fork over all that cash for a fight stick that isn’t precise while you could spend much less and get a better quality stick. Now that’s not to say that this stick isn’t any good. If someone is willing to spend this much to not have to deal with a cord then this is for you, but I have a corded stick, the wire is long and it never bothers me or gets in the way. HORI is making this stick, although you can get a similar stick from HORI that’s just as good if your worried about the chance of precision loss.
The official Tekken 6 Wireless Fight Stick Bundle bundles the upcoming game with an art book and a wireless stick made by HORI. The set will cost $150 for either the PS3 or Xbox 360 version. So they are only giving you one option, either you pay $150 or you don’t get a SWEET WIRELESS FIGHT STICK! Side note: Why are the start and pause buttons on the top right of the fight stick? This can not be tolerated following the Madcatz fight sticks putting them on the front so you don’t hit start or pause while your fighting.
If $150 dollars isn’t looking all that appealing, then be on the look out for a post by me that will give you information on fight sticks. I will show you the fight stick I’m using and how I customized it. And yes I realize all the innuendos.
