You’ve been warned…..

So the Clipper’s pick is already set with Blake Griffen,(hopefully)but the kid I’ve been excited about entering the NBA is Ricky Rubio.  I try to stay up on international sports (which normally just means soccer) ,however, I wasn’t aware of this kid until the Olympics. I had already known Rudy Fernandez (you know, the guy who shitted on Dwight Howard) but after the gold medal game, I was more interested in the kid Rubio. In the gold medal game, 17 years old, he showed hella heart and skill, against the best the world had to offer. Here’s some of his highlights from the Olympics…

So, based off the highlights, most would guess this kid has crazy game, but another top draft pick seems to disagree. Recently Brandon “fuck college, I’m tryna get paid, I’m going Euro” Jennings told ESPN, “Rubio is all hype,” “Not only am I better than him, but so are other point guards in the draft” and “I can’t wait to play him,”. Well, to Brandon’s credit, they have played already, and Brandon’s stats were better. (although they both didn’t do much) To keep it real though…I don’t like Brandon Jennings. Sure, the whole “You have to be 1 year removed from high school for the draft” thing is stupid, but this kid reeks of desperation. He signed to Under Armour….WTF? Who knows, maybe he’s trying to be a trendsetter, whatever, but I can’t wait till he plays Rubio either, I’m sure for different reasons.
